About

Kefalonia is a beautiful island, west of mainland Greece, commonly described as an Ionian paradise. The island is home to hundreds of beaches, coves, and nature and is of course surrounded by the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Turtle sightings are popular for visitors in Argostoli but seals and dolphins are also present, albeit less chances to spot.

Stand-up Paddleboarding (SUP) is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. It offers people a full body workout, and great core toning, combined with yoga creates a whole other dimension to the sport- plus if you fall, you will be immersed in the relaxing Mediterranean waters.

SUP Yoga Kefalonia has combined Yoga with the Stand Up Paddleboard to teach you to breathe, move and be present not only on the water, your body, and breathe but in your everyday life. Combining breath with movement on a floating platform, you’re sure to find moments of fun, laughter, and a lot of focus.

The first time I tried Stand up paddle boarding (SUP), was on a family holiday to France, as a teenager. I fell in love with the sport but lived in London / Johannesburg so my opportunities for SUP were near zero!

I have been teaching Yoga since 2016 and have developed my teaching over the years, starting with Vinyasa Yoga and taking courses in Meditation, Yin yoga, Restorative Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Women’s Health Yoga, and more. In November 2020, I moved to Kefalonia with my husband and toddler and have been delighted to rekindle my love of swimming, spending time in the sea, and of course SUP boarding.

I began teaching Yoga to tourists and wanted to deepen their experience whilst on holiday, visiting this beautiful island, which is why I decided to combine two passions of mine together.

Practicing Yoga poses whilst out in nature can enhance your practice, and what way to get closer to nature than on the sea? My approach is to help students to connect with their inner nature (calm), and mother nature, as a way to deepen overall health and well-being.

You do not need to have experience in either SUP or Yoga to join a class. I am looking forward to meeting you:)
